Bob and Brenda Greene have served in ministry for over 25 years. They began their ministry, Bob as a Church Administrator and Brenda as an Education Director, in Jackson, Mississippi. Bob has ministered to and trained servants and servant/leaders with an emphasis on excellence in ministering and “being who God has called you to be”. Brenda has developed ministries and has ministered in conferences and churches with a message of exhortation, “to take your place in the Body of Christ and begin to function in your spiritual gifts”. There is a strong anointing on both Bob and Brenda to minister from their gifts and to teach and train believers to rely on the Holy Spirit and live a Spirit-led life. The CALLING is a ministry that has been birthed through prophecy and a dream the Lord gave Bob about the ministry he and Brenda were about to step into. Several years ago the Lord spoke to Brenda the phrase, “There will be a calling forth, before the catching away”. This has become the mission of “The CALLING”; to reach, teach, and demonstrate the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit. Reaching people with the Good News of Jesus Christ through believers, changing lives with the message of salvation and reconciliation, and teaching people to live life and change lives through the spiritual gifts God has given them.

God gave us a scripture that has ignited our passion for reaching, teaching and demonstrating to people the power of the Holy Spirit: “…..we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”    2 Thessalonians 1:11, 12  NASB
